What I'm Working On Right Now--Paula

This is an early colorized rough for an emergent reader book I'm presently working on. The text is very basic with the the illustrations carrying the story. I'm still working out how I want to execute this book (which is a series of three). I'm leaning towards keeping the line work thinner than usual. I want it to look/feel playful and sweet but not be too "cartoony".
